Arthur Kim (He/Him) is a product designer who graduated from RISD in 2019 with a BFA in Graphic Design. Currently a Visual / UX Designer at Google and based in Texas. Previously he's worked at the New York Times as a product designer and Ladder as a founding designer.

He values accessibility in design whether it be through product or storytelling. In his free time he likes to boulder, learn about font design, and edit youtube videos.

Center for Urban Pedagogy

The Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) is a nonprofit organization that uses the power of design and art to improve the quality of public participation in urban planning and community design.

For 2021, I was chosen as a Public Access Design Fellow, and from the fellows I was selected to work with the Public Utility Law Project (PULP) on the topic of water utility rights in accordance with the Covid-19 moratorium law.

Trouble with your water bill

For this project I worked on the entirety of the design from illustrations to layout. Working with staff members from CUP, I worked with complex law jargon to make this project as accessible as possible.
